Subway Inn & Gunjan Bar

Subway Inn & Gunjan Bar is located right by Gate No 8 in Howrah. Being so close to the Howrah Railway Station means we see a lot of travelers and commuters every single day. The 711101 area is always moving and there is always noise from the trains and the crowds. We’ve been here for quite some time now, serving folks who are either just arriving in town or waiting for their next ride. It’s a busy spot, but we try to keep a bit of order inside. The bar side of things stays pretty lively in the evenings. It’s not a fancy lounge or anything, just a place where you can get a drink and relax for a bit after a long day of travel. We have a lot of regular customers from the local area who stop by too. The staff here knows the routine well. We don't have a lot of glossy brochures or a big website. Most people find us just by walking past the station gate. It can be a bit chaotic outside, but once you’re in, it’s just a normal place to sit down. We keep the lights on and the drinks ready. It’s a lot of hard work keeping up with the pace of the railway station, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just a local business trying to provide a spot for people in Howrah who need a break from the commute.
