Forge Salkia

We've been over here at 14 Rashbehari Kushal Lane for a while now. If you know this part of Howrah, you know it gets pretty busy during the day. Forge Salkia is basically just us doing our daily work in the neighborhood. It is not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical spot where things actually get done. Some days the lane is quiet, but other days it's a bit of a mess with traffic and noise, but we are always here. We started out small and stayed that way because it just suits how we like to work. People walk in, we talk about what they need, and we figure it out together. There's no script here. It's just a regular workplace. We handle the day-to-day stuff and try to keep things moving along. Most people find us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a neighbor. That’s how things go in Salkia. You don’t really need a big sign when people know where you are. We've got our tools and our space, and that is plenty for us. Sometimes it’s loud outside, but we just keep at it. If you happen to be passing by the 711106 area, you'll see us there. It is not much to look at from the street, but it works for us. We don’t spend much time on the computer writing fancy things about ourselves. We’d rather just be working on whatever project is on the table that morning.
