Addayama Fabricating

Down here on Benaras Road, right by the Kona Check Post, is where you’ll find our shop. It’s Addayama Fabricating, though most people just know us as the place near the check post. It’s a pretty noisy spot because of all the trucks passing by constantly, but it’s home for us. We do a lot of cutting and welding and putting things together. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal and sparks are flying somewhere in the back. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but it’s honest work. Sometimes we’re working on a big gate, other times it’s just small parts for someone’s project. We don’t really have a big front office or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to shout over the sound of the grinders. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, especially when we have the torches going, but we keep the fans running. It’s a small team, mostly guys from around here who know how to handle the tools. We’ve been at this for a bit now, just trying to get the orders out on time. Benaras Road is always busy, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We just focus on the metal in front of us. It’s simple enough, really. Just hard work and getting the dimensions right so things actually fit together like they should.
