Amit Metaliks Ltd is located at 15 4 B Devi Mandir Lane in Liluah, Howrah. The area is quite industrial and the lane stays busy with trucks and rickshaws moving back and forth all day. Being near the Devi Mandir means there is always some sound of bells or people walking by. Our building is a bit old and has that specific smell of metal and grease that you find in this part of Howrah. Inside, it is mostly open space where the real work happens. It is loud and dusty, but that is just the nature of the business. We do not have a fancy lobby or air-conditioned waiting rooms. There are just a few desks pushed together in the corner for the paperwork part of things. The tea stall right outside the gate is where most of us spend our breaks. It is a good place to hear the local gossip or just get away from the noise for ten minutes. The pincode 711204 covers a lot of ground, but Devi Mandir Lane is its own little world. We have workers who have been with us for decades, and they know the machines better than anyone. The floors are concrete and have some cracks from years of heavy lifting.
