About Grand Stones – Building & Construction Material in Hosur
Our shop, Grand Stones, is tucked into the Dharmalaxmi Complex over in Nggos Colony at No. 882/ A6. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit tight when the big trucks arrive to unload the new material. We’ve been handling stones here for a few years, mostly focusing on what the local builders in the area need for their projects. The office is small and usually smells like strong coffee and damp stone. We keep samples laid out on the old wooden tables so people can actually feel the texture of the granite. It’s better than looking at a screen. Sometimes we get families coming in who can’t decide between two colors for over an hour. We just let them take their time. My brother helps me with the accounts, though he prefers being out back with the guys helping with the heavy lifting. It’s a family-run kind of thing. Nggos Colony is a quiet enough area until the stone saws start up in the morning. We try to keep the noise down but stone work is loud by nature. There’s always a bit of grit on the floor no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just answer the phone and show people what we have in the yard. Most of our visitors come because a neighbor told them about us. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent shop.
