Purfurah Arambag Producer Company Limited is located right here in Baikunthapur. Our spot is at Khotian No-2605. It’s a bit of a specific address but that is where we do our business. Pursuraha is a busy area in Hooghly and we try to keep up with everything going on. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us local folks joined up to handle our work better. It’s not a big operation with lots of staff. Most of us are just out in the fields or handling the logistics ourselves. The land around here is good for what we do. We’ve been at this for a while now. The paperwork took some time to get sorted but we are official now. Hooghly has a lot of history with farming and we are just another part of that. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, we just sit down and talk about what needs doing for the week. Sometimes we have to deal with irrigation issues or the price of seeds going up. It’s just daily life for us. We keep our records in the office near J.L.No- 5. If you come by, it might look quiet but there is always something going on. We don't have a lot of time for talking much unless it's about the work at hand. It keeps us busy from morning until night most days of the week.
