Anwesha Food Products Private Limited

We’re located in Patulsaramirgachatra, which is a bit of a mouthful if you aren’t from around Arambagh. Our setup is at Srimanta Pal’s place. We do food products here. It’s a private company, but it feels more like a small family workshop most days. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in and what goes out. The air usually smells like whatever we are processing that day, whether it's spices or grains. It’s dusty work and the machines make a bit of noise, but it’s what we do. We didn't start with much, just a few ideas about how to package things properly so they stay fresh. Now we have a few more people helping out from the village. It’s not a big factory with shiny walls. It’s just a practical space where we can get the work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, which is just part of life here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the jars and packets. If the food is good, people come back, and that’s what matters to us. We keep the books as best as we can and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy crates and checking every seal by hand. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning till evening.
