Sukhdevi Farmers Producer Company Limited

Sukhdevi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Hudina, which is in the Narnaul area of Mahendragarh. We work out of Abhishek Yadav’s place. It’s a local operation, and being in the village means we are right where we need to be. We aren't some big corporation from far away; we are just people from Hudina working together. The company was set up to help out with the farming around here. Every day is a bit different. One day we might be talking about seeds, and the next we are trying to figure out why the tractor is acting up or how to get a better price for the mustard. It is a simple life, but it keeps us on our toes. Abhishek’s house is where we all meet up. It’s not a formal office with a secretary. You just walk in and talk to whoever is there. We have a lot of tea and do a lot of talking before any decisions get made. That is just the way things work in Mahendragarh. We care about the people we work with because they are our neighbors. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, we just have a lot of hard work to do. It can be tiring, especially when the sun is hot, but we like being our own bosses and helping the local farmers get things sorted.
