Mirpur Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at house number 112 in Sector 15 A, over in Hisar. It’s a quiet area mostly, but we stay pretty busy with the farming side of things. Mirpur Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who decided to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing separately. We've been around Haryana for a long time now. The office isn't much to look at, just a regular house where we keep all the records and files. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when too many people show up at once to discuss their crops. We talk about seeds, the rain, and what’s happening in the local market. It’s mostly just practical talk. Nobody here wears a suit or looks very professional. We just wear what we’d wear to the fields. Hisar is a good place to live, but the summers are really tough on everyone. We try to get most of the work done early in the morning before it gets too hot to think. Our group includes a lot of local farmers from around Mirpur. We handle the collection and sorting ourselves. It's a lot of manual work and checking heavy bags. Sometimes the computer acts up, so we go back to the old paper ledgers. It feels more real that way anyway. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We’re just local people in Hisar trying to get a fair shake for what we grow.
