Sawan Senior Secondary School

Sawan Senior Secondary School is on Vaidwala Road in Sirsa. It’s a part of Haryana where you see a lot of open fields once you get just a little bit away from the main town area. The school has been standing here for a good number of years. Most of our students come from the local families in Sirsa or from the nearby villages. Life at the school is pretty straightforward. We have a main gate that stays shut during the day, and a small guard who knows everyone who comes and goes. The building is made of brick and concrete, and we try to keep it tidy, though dust from the road always finds its way inside. We have older students here since it’s a senior secondary school, so things are a bit more serious in the higher grades where they are preparing for board exams. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. We don't have any high-end luxury facilities; it’s just a place with classrooms, a small library, and a lab for science experiments. People around here appreciate that we stick to the basics. The school bell is a bit old and rusty, but it still makes a loud enough sound to let everyone know when the day is finally over. We just want to make sure the students leave here with enough knowledge to make their way in the world.
