G S Public School

We've been here in Sirsa Ho for quite a while now. G S Public School is just a regular place where kids from the neighborhood come to learn their lessons. Most people know where we are on the map in Haryana. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things quiet enough for the classrooms. The building isn't anything fancy, just solid walls and rooms filled with desks. We see the same faces every morning when the gates open. Some of the teachers have been with us since the start. It gets hot here in the summer, but we manage. We spend our days going through the books and making sure the kids know their math and history. There’s usually some noise during the lunch break when everyone is out in the yard. Parents drop by sometimes to talk about how their kids are doing or to pick up some forms. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us doing the work day in and day out. Sirsa is a good place to be, and being part of this community means a lot to the staff here. We keep the hallways clean and the chalkboards ready. It’s a simple life at the school. Nothing stays the same for long with kids growing up so fast, but the building stays right where it is on Sirsa-Haryana road. We just keep showing up and doing what needs to be done for the students.
