Adarsh Senior Secondary School

We have been here in Sirsa for quite some time now. Most people around here know where we are, right near the main post office area. It gets busy in the mornings when the buses pull up and the kids start running toward the main gate. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up well against the Haryana heat. Inside, you’ll find the usual classrooms and a playground that stays dusty because of the dry weather we get here. The teachers usually arrive a bit early to get their desks sorted out before the first bell rings. It is just a regular school where we try to keep things moving along every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to open all the windows to let a breeze in. We don’t have fancy stuff, just desks, chalkboards, and a lot of students trying to figure out their lessons. Parents stop by the office often to talk about their kids or pay fees. It’s a loud place during recess, which is to be expected when you have so many children in one spot. We spend a lot of time just managing the schedule and making sure everyone is where they should be. It is honest work. The walls have some marks on them from years of use, and the trees in the yard provide some decent shade during the afternoon break. We just keep going, day after day, helping the local families here in Sirsa.
