About Dav Centenary Public School – Education in Hisar
We’re located over on Sultanpuria Road here in Sirsa. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when all the buses and rickshaws are dropping off kids. Dav Centenary Public School has been around for a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. The building itself is pretty standard, with brick walls and large windows that stay open most of the year to catch a breeze. Inside, you’ll hear the usual sounds of teachers talking and children moving their wooden desks around on the stone floors. It gets quite dusty on this side of town, so there's always someone sweeping the front steps. We don't have a massive campus, but there is enough space for the kids to run around during the lunch break. Sometimes the noise from the road gets a bit loud, but the teachers just close the doors and keep going. We have a small playground area that sees a lot of use every day. Most of our staff live nearby, so they walk or bike to work. It’s a regular school day for us, starting early and finishing up by mid-afternoon. We focus on the books and getting through the syllabus without much fuss. People around here just call us the school on the Sultanpuria stretch. It’s nothing fancy, just a place for the local children to spend their day learning things.
