Satrol Kisan Mitra Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Sandeep’s place at House Number 1, which is the Choudhary Bhup Singh farm house near the main bus stand in Khanda Kheri. If you know the Hisar area, you probably know where the bus stand is. We are all local farmers from around here who decided to call ourselves Satrol Kisan Mitra. It really just means we are friends of the farmers. We didn't want to keep working all alone and getting stuck with bad deals, so we put this company together. It’s mostly about the wheat and mustard we grow in this part of Haryana. Sandeep helps keep things organized from his home. It is a bit noisy sometimes because of the bus stand nearby, but it makes it easy for people to find us when they come into town. We spend a lot of time talking about the rains and the price of fertilizer. There are no big bosses here, just us guys from the village trying to make a living from the land. Sometimes we have meetings sitting outside under the trees to discuss what to plant next or how to share a tractor. It is a simple life and the work is never really done, but having this company helps us feel a bit more secure. We are just regular people from Khanda Kheri trying to do right by our families and the land we have been farming for years.
