Sarvpalli Public School

Sarvpalli Public School is located right on Sirsa Road in Ellenabad. Being on the main road means there's always some traffic passing by. We have a gate that stays closed during the day to keep the noise and dust out as much as possible. The school serves the local community here in the Sirsa district. It’s a plain building with classrooms lined up along the hallways. We have a playground area, though it’s mostly just dirt and some grass if it’s rained recently. The staff comes in early to get things ready before the buses arrive from the surrounding villages. We deal with all sorts of things, from fixing broken benches to making sure the drinking water tanks are filled up. It's a lot of practical daily tasks that people don't always see. The students are mostly local kids who live nearby. We don't have any big corporate backers or anything like that. It’s just us and the parents trying to get the kids through their schooling years. The weather in Sirsa can be quite tough, very hot in the summer, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as possible for the children. People know us by our location on the road heading out of town. It’s a familiar sight for anyone living in Ellenabad. We just keep our heads down and do the work of running a school without making a big fuss about it. The day ends when the last bus pulls away.
