Nachi Ketan Model School

Nachi Ketan Model School is located on Thobraian Road, right in the heart of Ellenabad. If you know the Sirsa-Haryana area at all, you know that things here are pretty quiet and steady. Our school is a reflection of that. We aren’t trying to be a high-tech facility with all the newest bells and whistles. We’re just a local school in the 125102 area where we try to keep things running as best as we can. Every morning, the staff arrives and we start the day by checking the classrooms and making sure the chalkboards are clean. It’s a lot of little tasks that add up. Sometimes the wind picks up and blows dust in from the road, so we’re always cleaning something. The building has its quirks, like a window that rattles or a certain stair that creaks, but we’ve grown fond of them. We don’t spend much time worrying about how we look to the outside world. We just care about what happens inside these walls every day. It’s a place where we all know each other’s names. We talk about the local harvest or the news in Sirsa during our breaks. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just want to keep the doors open and provide a space for the kids here to do their work in peace. It’s a lot of effort to maintain a place like this, but we don't mind the work. It’s just how we spend our years here in Ellenabad.
