If you're looking for us, we are over at House Number 50 in Village Rajpura. It’s part of the Narnaul area. We are set up at Hanuman’s place. Jathu Baba Farmer Producer Companylimited is really just a bunch of us from the village coming together to try and do better. Most of the time, we’re out in the fields working, but when we have to do the company work, we meet up at the house. Rajpura is a small place and everyone knows where House 50 is. Hanuman is usually around to help with the paperwork and keep things moving. We started this because the farmers here needed a better way to sell what we grow without getting cheated. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning or computers everywhere. We sit on the porch or in the main room and talk about the seeds and the rain. Sometimes we have meetings under the big tree outside when it’s too hot in the house. It's a very local thing, just for us. We don't have a lot of money for big equipment yet, so we just do things the old way but with a bit more organization now. People from the nearby villages come by too sometimes. We try to keep track of everything in big ledgers. It’s hard work being a producer company in a small village like Rajpura, but we are all in it together as neighbors. It’s just us farmers trying to get a fair shake at life.
