Bhuriyawas Farmer Producer Companylimited

Our office is at House Number 7 in the village of Bhuriawas. It’s located in the Nahar Block of the Rewari district. We are just a local group called Bhuriyawas Farmer Producer Companylimited. Most of us have lived in Bhuriawas our whole lives and our fathers were farmers too. We decided to put this company together to help out with the business side of things around here. House No. 7 is a busy place during the day because people are always dropping by to ask questions or sign some papers. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some old chairs and a wooden desk where we keep the registers. Rewari is a big district but we focus mostly on our own block. It’s tough being a farmer these days with the costs going up so much, so having this collective helps us a bit. We don't have a marketing team or people in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes, usually coming straight from the fields with dirt on our shoes. Sometimes the goats from next door wander into the yard while we are having a meeting, which makes us laugh. It’s a real rural setup and we like it that way. We just want to make sure the producers in Bhuriawas get what they need to survive. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation, just a solid group of neighbors working together. It’s been a learning curve for all of us but we are getting there one day at a time.
