Our place is located in Bishnoi Colony in Hisar, right near the water filter. If you are around here, just ask for Ugra Sain’s place and people will usually point you in the right direction. We work with biomedical items, mostly supplying equipment to hospitals in the nearby areas of Haryana. It is a straightforward business without any of the big corporate talk you see in the cities. We have a small office that stays pretty busy throughout the day. The shelves are mostly filled with medical kits and various testing tools. Since it’s Hisar, it gets quite dusty, so we are often wiping down the equipment to keep it in good shape. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of workers. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time now. We know the local doctors and clinic owners by their first names. Sometimes the logistics of moving sensitive medical gear can be tricky on the local roads, but we’ve figured out how to handle it over the years. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons usually involve getting the shipments ready for the next day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important for the health services around here. We usually have some snacks and chai in the afternoon while we finish up the last of the logbooks. It is a steady, honest way to make a living.
