We operate out of Mr. Tarun Kumar’s place in Kajrothi, which is in the Sadabad area of Hathras. Tarun is the son of Balbir Singh and he keeps things running here. It is a local operation through and through. We don't have a big sign or a glass building. It is just a regular house where we handle the business of the farm group. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to folks who ride their bikes over from the nearby farms. Hathras is a busy place for agriculture and there is always something that needs doing. We focus on helping the farmers around here get their stuff to market without too much trouble. It is a lot of back and forth with the buyers and the transporters. Some days it is very quiet and we just catch up on the books. Other days it is a total madhouse with everyone wanting something at once. We don't have any corporate training. We just know how to farm and how to talk to our neighbors. It is a practical way to run things. We use simple tools and keep our records as best as we can. If you come looking for us, just ask for Tarun’s house in the village. Everyone knows where it is. We are just trying to make a living like everyone else around here.
