We run Dauli Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited from a small spot in Malagarh, right here in Bulandshahr. It’s actually located at Subhash’s place in the village. We aren't some big city company with a lot of money or fancy people in suits. We are just farmers who have lived in this area all our lives. We know the dirt and the crops better than anything else we could do. Every morning, we check on the fields and then maybe meet up to talk about what needs doing next. Managing things as a group was a new idea for us, but it helps when we need to buy things or sell our grain. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing for us, but we manage somehow. Bulandshahr is a good place for farming, though it has its own sets of problems like the pests or the electricity. We try to work through them together. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet. You won't find any polished sales talk or big promises here. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming and that the work stays steady throughout the year. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when it’s time to sow the seeds or reap the crops. But that is just how it goes in Malagarh. We take it one day at a time and keep moving.
