Our group is called Muniya Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Jasrana, which is over in the Hathras area. Nimesh Kumar is the person who looks after the paperwork and the main contact point here. The address is C/O Nimesh Kumar, Jasrana Jasrana, Mahamaya Nagar Hathras Hathras 204216. We started this because we wanted to have a collective voice for the farmers in this part of Mahamaya Nagar. Hathras is a place where people work hard, and we are no different. We spend our days out in the fields, mostly. We don't have a fancy store or a big corporate building. It’s just us, working with the land. We handle things like buying supplies in bulk and trying to find better ways to sell what we grow. Sometimes the weather is against us, but we keep going. It’s a very local operation, and most of the members are just neighbors. We talk about the crops over tea and decide what the next steps are. We aren't trying to impress anyone. We just want to make sure the farming life is sustainable for our families. If you’re in Jasrana, you can find us easily enough. We’re just regular people from the village, doing the work that’s been done here for generations, just trying to be a bit more organized about it. It takes time, but we are making it work.
