Surjobai Ga Inter College is right by the Kila Gate in Hathras. This is a very old part of the town, and you can feel that when you walk around the area. The Kila Gate is a local landmark, so everyone knows where we are. Hathras has its own unique character, and being at this specific spot means we are right in the middle of the local life. The streets are often crowded with bikes and pedestrians, and there is a lot of noise from the market nearby. Our college building is a bit of a fixture in the neighborhood. It’s a practical space where we hold our classes and manage the daily paperwork. It isn't a modern glass building; it’s more traditional and has that lived-in feel that comes with years of use. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and making sure the chalkboard and benches are in good shape. It gets quite dusty because of the traffic near the gate, so cleaning is a never-ending task for us. The staff here are mostly locals who have been around Hathras for a long time. We know the families and the shopkeepers on the way to the gate. It’s just a simple, hardworking environment where we focus on the basics and keep the college running as best as we can every day.
