R C Agarwaal G Inter College

Down at Chanwar Gate in Hathras, you’ll find R C Agarwaal G Inter College. It’s an old part of the city and the building has been standing there for quite some time. The address is 204101. It’s a busy spot with people moving through the gate all day long. Our college is where local students come to finish their higher secondary education. The hallways are long and have a lot of history in them. We have many classrooms with rows of wooden benches that have seen many years of use. In the summer, the ceiling fans are always on full speed to beat the Hathras heat. The students are older here, so they mostly manage themselves, but the teachers are always around to keep an eye on things. Teachers work on the subjects required for the state exams. It’s a very practical place. There’s a small courtyard where students gather between classes to talk about their futures or just complain about the weather. We have a front office where the principal sits and handles all the official documents. You might see a few bicycles parked out front since that’s how many of our students get here. We don’t put on any airs; it’s just a local college doing its job in the community. People in Hathras know the name and where we are located. We just try to get through the syllabus every year and help the kids move on to whatever is next.
