Sitaram Singh Inter College

You’ll find Sitaram Singh Inter College over in Gadhola, which is part of Hathras. We’ve been based here in the 204101 area for quite some time. It’s a local school where things move at their own pace. We aren't a big city institution with glass walls. It’s more of a brick-and-mortar place where the local community gathers. Most of our staff live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. During the monsoon, the roads around Gadhola can be a bit tricky, but the students still make it in. We spend our time setting up desks, grading papers, and making sure the gate is locked at night. It’s honest work. We don't have a PR department or anyone to write shiny brochures for us. We just tell people where we are and what we do. The college building itself is a familiar sight to everyone in Hathras. It’s where many of us grew up or where we’ve worked for decades. We don’t make big promises; we just try to keep the classrooms running every morning. Sometimes it's noisy with the kids playing outside, and other times it's dead silent during exam weeks. It’s just a normal part of life here. We stick to our schedules and help out whoever walks in through the main entrance. That’s about all there is to it for us here in Gadhola. The tea shop nearby is where we go during lunch when it’s not too busy.
