If you are driving along A. B. Road, you might spot us right behind the Purani Chhawani police station. Being so close to the station means things are usually pretty orderly around here. We have a lot of stone stored in the back, mostly just stacked up waiting for someone to pick it out. The highway is always loud with trucks and buses zooming past, but we don't mind the noise much anymore. We spend our mornings moving pieces around and making sure the yard stays organized. It is a lot of physical work, especially when the sun is beating down on the open ground. We don't have a fancy front office, just a small shed where we keep the records and sit for a bit when we need a break. Most of our customers are locals who are building a small wall or maybe a patio. They like that they can just pull in off the main road and see what we have available. We try to keep a decent variety, though some weeks are better than others depending on what comes in from the quarries. My brother and I run most of the daily stuff. We've had this spot for years and people know us by name now. It is a simple life of lifting and loading, and we are fine with that. No one here is trying to be a corporate giant; we just want to get the stone sold.
