If you’ve ever been to this part of Gwalior, you know it can get pretty hectic with the traffic and the noise. Our yard is usually full of marble slabs leaning against each other. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and we spend a good chunk of our time just moving pieces around so people can see the patterns. Marble is tricky because it’s heavy and fragile at the same time, so we have to be careful. The dust gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of the job when you work with stone. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or guys working on new houses. We show them what’s in stock and talk about the different cuts. We’ve been at this Gwalior location for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. It isn’t a clean, air-conditioned showroom. It’s a working yard where things get done. Sometimes the sun beats down on the slabs and they get hot to the touch. We just drink some water and keep moving. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team.
