Gaurav Granite

Gaurav Granite is easy enough to find if you know where Om Tower is in Bahodapur. We are located right there in Panchwati Colony, just off A.B. Road. It’s a busy road with a lot of noise from the trucks going by, but you get used to it. The yard is full of granite slabs of all different types. We spend most of the day moving stones around with the crane and talking to people who stop by. It’s a bit messy with all the water and stone dust, but that’s the nature of the granite business. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a swamp, but we keep working through it. We aren't a big corporate office; it’s just a few of us here making sure things run. My boots are always dusty and my hands are usually rough from touching the stone. People often miss the turn for Panchwati Colony because the A.B. Road traffic moves so fast, so we tell them to look for the Om Tower landmark. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just people seeing the sign or hearing about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of Bahodapur. There’s a tea stall nearby where we get our morning chai, and that’s about as fancy as it gets for us. We just keep the stones moving and hope for good weather so the cutting stays on schedule.
