You can find us at Flat No 27 in the Hewo Apartment complex in Sector 31. It’s a residential area, so it feels a lot more like a home than an office. Vikra Foods Private Limited started out small and honestly, it’s still pretty small. We use one of the rooms for all the filing and the other for the actual food planning. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than three people in there at once. Sector 31 is a nice part of town, pretty quiet for the most part, which helps when we’re trying to focus. We do not have a storefront, so most of our work is done over the phone or through deliveries. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all those crates, but we keep to ourselves. We handle the daily tasks like any other business, just from a flat. It means we make our own tea and sometimes forget to take the trash out until the end of the shift. It’s not the most professional-looking setup if you are used to glass buildings, but it works for what we need. We focus on getting the food orders right and making sure the quality is what we would eat ourselves. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in food, more than you would think. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the apartment from getting too cluttered with business stuff.
