We are based on the ground floor at S-6/9 in DLF Phase III in Gurgaon. Tlfc Food And Beverages is basically run out of this small unit. Being on the ground floor is actually a big help because we don't have to carry heavy boxes up any stairs. The area around Phase III is always busy with people coming and going from work. We have a lot of crates and bottles stacked up against the walls because space is a bit tight here. It is a very simple setup with a couple of desks shoved into the corner and a small fridge for our own stuff. The noise from the street comes right through the door, so it is never really quiet. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and talking to delivery drivers. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer, so we keep the door open a crack to get some breeze. We are just regular people trying to manage a food and beverage business. There is no corporate polish here, just some scuffed floors and a lot of hard work. We have a calendar on the wall where we scribble all our notes and reminders. It is a bit chaotic when several deliveries arrive at the same time, but we manage to sort it out eventually. We like being in this part of Gurgaon because everything is close by.
