Strikers Pub & Brewery

Strikers Pub & Brewery is located over at Dlf City Golf Course Road 23. It’s a big space and it takes a lot of effort to keep it running. We have these large brewing tanks that we have to look after, making sure the temperature is right and everything is clean. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and checking gauges. When evening comes, the place starts to fill up and the music gets turned up. We spend most of our nights behind the bar or running between tables. The floor gets sticky from spilled drinks and we’re constantly wiping things down. It’s quite different during the day when it’s empty and we’re just doing inventory or cleaning the lines. We have a kitchen too that puts out a lot of snacks. Sometimes the kitchen gets backed up and we have to deal with grumpy people, but that’s just part of the job. The lights are dim and it’s a bit of a maze with all the seating. We’ve got a mix of staff, some have been here since we opened and others are new. We don’t really have a fancy philosophy or anything. We just make the beer, serve the food, and make sure the place is locked up tight at the end of the night. It's often very late when we finally get to go home and the street outside is finally quiet.
