Cafe Black Brew

Cafe Black Brew is tucked away at H.No. 1089 in Sector 21. Gurgaon can be a bit overwhelming with all its malls and skyscrapers, so being in a spot like this in Haryana is nice. The address is 122016, and it is a pretty typical street for this area. We have the coffee machines running early in the morning. You can usually hear the grinder before you even walk through the door of H.No. 1089. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the world. We just want to make sure the coffee is hot and the seats are available. The chairs are a bit mismatched because we picked them up over time. It gives the place a bit of character, or at least that is what we tell ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in this part of Gurgaon. We know most of the people who live in Sector 21 by their first names now. It is a small community feeling inside a very big city. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because we are always busy. We spend our days making drinks and talking to whoever comes in. India is full of places like this, but this one is ours. We stay open until the evening and then lock up the gate for the night.
