Our place is at D-12, which is a row house in Surya Vihar, Dundahera. If you know the Gurugram area, you know it can get a bit crowded around here. We’ve been running Shivayai Foods And Retails Private Limited from this spot for some time. It’s a regular house that we’ve basically turned into our workspace. It’s nice because it doesn't feel like a cold, gray office building. We have the usual stuff, boxes here and there, and the computer is always on. Dundahera is a busy neighborhood and there’s always something happening outside on the street. Sometimes it gets noisy with the traffic from Gurgaon, but that’s just how it is. We handle both the food side and the retail part of things from the same rooms. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address. My cousin helps out sometimes with the heavy lifting. We usually have tea around four and talk about what needs to get done for the next day. It’s a very local way of doing things. We aren’t trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to get the food and retail items out to the people who need them without too much fuss. It works for us and the neighbors don't seem to mind much. There is always a lot of work to do.
