Sakthi Sugar Ltd

You can find us over at 16/17 Gurgaon Palampur Road, right in the Maruti Industrial Area. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get into their units. Sakthi Sugar Ltd has been operating from this location, and it feels like we’ve become part of the landscape here. The building is a bit older, with some wear and tear on the walls, but it serves us well for what we do. We don’t really spend much time thinking about the decor. Most of our focus is on what is happening inside the workspace. The floors are concrete and there is always something being moved from one corner to another. It’s a lot of physical work, and the guys are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of their shift. We keep the doors open when the weather allows just to get some fresh air in. The Maruti Industrial Area is a bit of a hub, so there are always new faces and trucks coming through. We mostly keep to ourselves and get our work finished on time. It is not the kind of place where you see people in suits very often. We wear our work clothes and just get stuck in. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. That’s life on the Gurgaon Palampur Road.
