Rockman Beer Island

Rockman Beer Island is situated over at Indraprastha Estate on Netaji Subhash Marg. We are at number 205. The area is full of big office buildings and government spots, so the vibe is a bit serious during the day. We try to be the opposite of that for the people here. It’s a fairly large space, which means a lot of cleaning and upkeep. You wouldn't believe how much dust settles on the tables in just one single day. We spend a good chunk of our time checking the kegs and making sure the taps are working right. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The floors are concrete because it’s easier to mop up spills that way at the end of the night. We aren't a high-end lounge with velvet ropes or a dress code. It’s more of a place where you can just wear whatever and hang out for a bit. The staff here are just regular people from around the city. We have our own jokes and we get the work done together. Sometimes it gets really loud when a big group comes in after work, but that’s fine. We just keep the orders moving and make sure everyone is okay. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. Opening the doors, checking the stock, washing the glasses. We don't have any flashy slogans. We just provide a place for people to sit down. We’re just here at 205, keeping things going every day.
