About Natraj Grah Udhyog – Food & Beverages in Gurugram
We've been in Gali No. 2 for quite a while now. Most people around Hatri Bazar know where we are because of the constant noise of the machines. It’s a tight space, honestly. We have bags piled up everywhere and sometimes it’s hard to move around without bumping into something. The sun hits the front door right around noon and makes the whole place feel like an oven, but we keep going anyway. My cousin helps out with the ledger and I handle the workers. It isn’t a fancy setup. We don't have a big glass front or anything like that. Just a simple shutter and some old desks that have seen better days. Every morning we open up around nine and start sorting through things. The street outside is always narrow and crowded with rickshaws and people carrying bags of grain. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the stools until it comes back. It’s just how things work here in the bazaar. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the work gets finished and the orders go out, we are fine. Life moves pretty fast in this part of town, but we’ve found our rhythm over the years. We know the tea seller down the corner and the guys who deliver our supplies by name. It’s a local life and we’re used to the dust and the noise.
