This McDonald's is right in the Sector 30 36 area. It’s a very busy spot because of the location. We have people coming through the drive-thru and others coming inside to sit down. The sound of the fry timers is basically the soundtrack to our day. We are constantly moving, filling bags and trays as fast as the orders come up on the screen. The lobby is quite large, and we have to spend a lot of time checking the bins and making sure the floor isn't slippery. We get a lot of families because of the kids' meals, so there's usually a bit of noise and excitement around the tables. It’s a pretty standard setup, nothing you haven't seen before. Sometimes the milkshake machine needs a deep clean and we have to tell people it's down for a bit, which never goes over well. Our crew is a mix of younger students and some older staff who have been here a long time. We just focus on getting the food out and keeping the place from getting too messy during the rush. It’s just a fast-paced kitchen where we try to stay on top of things. It’s one of those places that everyone knows, so we just try to keep it running smooth. We keep the back door locked for safety, and the delivery trucks arrive every Tuesday morning with the frozen supplies. The drive-thru window speaker is a little fuzzy, so we have to ask people to repeat themselves sometimes.
