Krishna Batteries

We are located on Khandsa Road, right in the market area near D A V School. Krishna Batteries is the kind of place where you come when your car won't start in the morning or your home inverter stops working during a power cut. The shop is filled with heavy black boxes and the smell of lead and acid. It’s a bit cramped because batteries take up a lot of room. We spend a lot of time lifting things and checking voltage levels with our meters. It’s mostly hands-on work. When someone comes in with a dead battery, we test it to see if it just needs a charge or if it's completely gone. We don't try to sell you something you don't need. If the old one still has life, we tell you. Most of our customers are from the local neighborhood around Sector 14. They know where we are. We have a small bench outside where people wait while we swap out their old battery for a new one. It gets pretty hot in the shop during the summer, but that's when everyone's inverters are working the hardest. We just keep the fan going and keep working. We aren't a big chain store with fancy lighting. It’s just a practical shop in the market. We keep the receipts in a drawer and use a regular pen to mark the warranty dates. It's how we've always done it. Most days we are just busy with the trucks.
