Our office is up on the 5th floor of Tower-B in Global Business Park. If you’ve ever been here, you know the elevators can be a bit slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their desks. We handle a lot of glass related stuff, which sounds simple but it gets complicated once you start looking at all the different types and sizes. The office is usually full of people on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s a lot of coordination between the plants and the customers who need glass for their projects. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and everyone gets a bit grumpy until it's fixed. We have big windows here, which is nice because you can see the city while you’re working. Most of us have been in the glass business for a long time, so we’ve seen how things have changed from the old days. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always someone talking about shipping schedules or quality checks. We try to keep organized, though paperwork has a way of piling up when things get busy. It’s a solid team here, even if we’re mostly stuck behind desks all day. We just try to make sure the right glass gets to the right place without any cracks. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know. The view from the fifth floor helps on those long afternoons when the sun is setting over the park.
