Kanwal Enterprises is tucked away in Sheetla Colony, right between Gali Number 3 and 4 on the Sector 5 road. It’s a bit of a busy spot with trucks and cars always moving around. We’ve been operating out of this location for several years. The place is usually packed with stock and materials. We don't have much room for a fancy waiting area, so people usually just walk right into the middle of things. It’s a local business and we like it that way. We know the other shop owners on the road and we all look out for each other. Most of our day is spent dealing with orders and talking to suppliers. It’s not a high-tech operation; we use a lot of paper and we keep track of things manually most of the time. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, which can be a pain for deliveries, but we manage. We aren’t really interested in sounding corporate or polished. We just want to provide what people need and keep the business running smoothly. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or cleaning up the shop floor. We just take it one day at a time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don’t make big promises, we just do what we can to help our customers out.
