Incense

Incense is located at 114 on the 1st floor of the DLF City Center Mall. This mall is right on M G Road, which is one of the busiest streets you can find. There is always traffic and people moving about outside. Inside the mall, it is a bit more controlled. Our shop is just one of many along the first-floor walkway. We have been here for a bit, and we’ve seen shops come and go. The space is big enough for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time just arranging things on the shelves and making sure the place looks decent. It isn't a high-end designer space, just a regular shop where we work every day. M G Road is a landmark in itself, so most people don't have trouble locating the mall. We like the fact that it's easy to get to by the metro. The windows look out towards the inner atrium of the mall. Sometimes we get a lot of people just window shopping, and other times it's quiet. We don't have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just come in, open up the doors, and stay until the mall closes at night. It can be a long day, especially on Saturdays. We know the other shopkeepers nearby, so we chat when things are slow. It’s just a normal way to earn a living in a very crowded city. We take it one day at a time here.
