Leya Exports is based out of E-148 in Richmond Park, over in DLF Phase-4. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the commercial hubs. We operate out of a space that feels more like a home than a corporate office. There are trees outside and you can hear the birds in the morning, which is a nice change. We handle a lot of our business through emails and phone calls, often late at night because of the time differences with our buyers. The rooms are filled with samples—different fabrics, small items, and prototypes we’re checking. Sometimes the living area gets taken over by boxes when we’re preparing for a big shipment. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know how everything runs. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting around a large table with our laptops. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that; we just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. People don't usually just walk in since we’re in a gated community, so most of our meetings are planned well in advance. It’s a very relaxed way to run a business, even when things get busy with the export schedules. We like the quiet here because it helps us focus on the details of the orders.
