Goyal Foods

Goyal Foods is located at House Number 353, in Gali Number 3, near Mamta Hospital here in Gurgaon. We work right out of this house, so it doesn't feel like a big factory or a cold office building. The street, Gali Number 3, is usually quite narrow and can be a bit of a challenge when we have supplies being dropped off. Being so close to Mamta Hospital means there are always people around, even late at night. We spend most of our hours in the back where the cooking happens. It is a lot of manual labor, like lifting heavy bags of grain or scrubbing down the large pots we use. The house has a lot of history for us, and the walls have seen many years of work. It is not a polished showroom; it is a place where we actually make food. Sometimes the smells from the kitchen fill up the whole house and drift out into the street. The neighbors often know what we are making before we even finish. We don't have any big signs or advertisements out front. If you are looking for us, you just look for the house number. We keep things simple and focused on the tasks at hand. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we just open the windows and keep going. It is just a regular local business run by regular people who live and work in the same spot.
