Decor India

Out here on Sohana Road, things move fast. Decor India has been operating from this location for quite some time. It's not a flashy showroom or anything like that. We just have our space where we keep the supplies and meet with people who need help with their homes or shops. Every morning, the first thing we do is open up the shutters and see what the weather is doing. If it’s raining, we have to move some of the inventory back so it doesn't get damp. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just helping folks make their places look a bit better without spending a fortune. Sometimes someone comes in with a very specific idea and we have to tell them if it’s doable or not. We don’t like to make promises we can’t keep. It’s just us working here, a few guys who know the area well. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years. More traffic now, more buildings going up. But we stay in our spot and keep doing what we do. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby. We talk about the projects we’re finishing and the ones starting next week. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and measuring twice. We aren't big on meetings; we just talk while we work. It’s more practical that way and keeps the day moving along for all of us here.
