You can find Daksh Foods Company at Plot No. 14 in Adarsh Nagar. Our workspace is in Gali No. 2, which is right near the Beri Ka Bagh area. Malerna Road is only a short distance away, making it easy for the delivery vans to find their way to us. This part of town is a mix of small workshops and family houses, so there’s always the sound of people working. The building is a plain concrete structure with a heavy metal door that we keep open for air. Inside, we have a processing area and one small corner used as an office. It is definitely not a polished environment, with flour bags and boxes often stacked near the entrance. Our routine starts early in the morning before the sun gets too high in the sky. A few guys from the neighborhood come in to help us with the packing and loading of the goods. We don't really do formal interviews; we just hire people who live nearby and need the work. Much of our time is spent checking the machines and keeping the floor clean enough to work. It’s a very practical business where we don't worry about fancy titles or expensive stationery. We just focus on the food we handle and get it ready for the local markets. It’s a busy life, but seeing the same faces every day makes it feel like home to everyone here.
