We’re set up at 212- L/A in New Colony. It’s more of a functional workspace than anything else. Most of the day is spent handling boxes and checking on the stock we have coming in. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour, because it’s mostly just us working and making sure everything is where it needs to be. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which suits us just fine. We’ve had this spot for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. We deal with food products, so there’s always a lot of logistics involved. Some days the delivery trucks come late, and that throws off the whole schedule, which can be a bit stressful. We don’t have a fancy front desk or anyone to greet you with a script. Usually, someone will just look up from their paperwork and ask what you need. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the daily tasks of sorting, packing, and moving things along. It gets a bit cold in the warehouse during the winter months, so we usually have a heater going in the corner. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay on top of the workload and keeping things moving. Nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the trucks are loaded. It's a lot of repetition, but it's what we do.
