S. R. Processing

Our shop is located at Khasra No. 488 on Basai Road, right in the Basai Enclave area. We are directly opposite the Vishal Service Station, which is handy because everyone knows where that is. The road outside stays pretty busy with cars and bikes going past all day long. At S. R. Processing, we spend most of our time focused on the machines and the materials coming in. It can get a bit loud inside when everything is running, so we usually have to shout a little to be heard. The floor is concrete and has some stains from the different processes we do here, but that’s just the nature of the work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist; we just have a small area for the files and the rest is for the actual work. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in through the front, so we are always sweeping up. We have a rhythm to our day, starting early before the sun gets too high and the heat really kicks in. The service station across the way is a good spot to see what’s happening in the neighborhood. We’ve been part of this little stretch of Basai Road for a good while now. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the tasks at hand without any distractions. It is just a regular place where work gets done by hand.
