We’ve been over here at Plot No. 270 in Sector 8 of IMT Manesar for a while now. Most days it’s just the usual routine of getting the machines warmed up and checking the schedules. The area is pretty busy, lots of trucks moving in and out of the industrial township, which can make the mornings a bit hectic. Our workshop gets loud once everyone starts working, but that’s just how it is with engineering. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and fixing parts that come through. Sometimes the heat in the shed gets to be a bit much during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and just push through the shift. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us occupied. Most of us have been coming to this same spot for years, so we know all the tea stalls nearby and where to get a quick lunch. The commute to Manesar can be a pain with the traffic on the highway, yet we all show up and get to it. We deal with a lot of metal, grease, and tools every day. It’s mostly about making sure the components are right before they get packed up. There isn’t much downtime when there are orders to fill. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing on the floor. It’s just us, Atma Autotech Engineers, doing our bit in this corner of the estate.
