Amira Foods India Ltd.

We are located out at the 21st Milestone on Pataudi Road, in the Harsaru district. Amira Foods India Ltd. is the name on the sign outside, though it’s a bit faded from the sun these days. This area is mostly made up of open fields and other large warehouses, so it’s usually quiet until the big transport trucks show up for loading. We handle a lot of different food products here. The warehouse is huge, and it stays surprisingly cool inside, which is a nice relief when the summer heat hits the district hard. We spend our days checking the quality and making sure everything is stored the right way so nothing spoils. It’s a lot of counting heavy bags and moving pallets around with the jacks. Pataudi Road can be a bit bumpy and full of potholes, so we have to be very careful with the loading process. The staff here is mostly local folks from the nearby villages. We all know each other's families and what's going on in the neighborhood. It feels more like a small community than a big corporation, even if the name sounds a bit formal on the letterhead. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us what we should say to people. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we have to wait for the old generator to kick in, which is always a bit of a hassle. But we get by just fine.
