Our unit is Plot No.-136 in Sector-5 of IMT Manesar. This area has grown a lot over the last few years, but it still feels like a massive construction zone sometimes with all the new buildings going up. At W.Diamant India Pvt. Ltd., we’ve been at this plot for a while. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a grey structure that houses our equipment and the small office where we handle the paperwork. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the diamond tools we work with. It's precise work, so it stays fairly quiet inside compared to some of our neighbors who are doing heavy forging. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s families by now. The commute to Manesar can be a bit of a headache with the traffic on the highway, so we usually try to get in early and leave before the rush starts. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales force. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years and just call us up when they need something. We keep our tools organized and our desks a bit messy, which is how we like it. There’s a tea vendor who comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. It’s a simple, steady routine that seems to work for everyone here.
